WATER CONSUMPTION

Even though the River Seine that borders our arrondissement gives the impression of a constant flow, water suitable for consumption deserves to be considered. For instance, the bottled water available at Hôtel Le Lavoisier is in fact filtered tap water. Sourced locally, this purified water not only has zero impact from transport but also, thanks to reusable glass bottles, avoids the unnecessary use of plastic. 

Another example is that when washing linen, the detergents used inevitably discard pollutants in the wastewater. To conserve the quality and quantity of the water supply, Hôtel Le Lavoisier suggests that your bed linen and towels be changed only when you think it necessary. Every year, thousands of litres of water are saved in this way, working together to preserve a precious natural resource.
